Early Warnings, Lasting Impact

When climate risks escalate, minutes matter. For vulnerable communities across Africa, reducing warning times from six hours to just one can save thousands of lives and prevent millions in economic losses. For farmers, having timely, accurate forecasts on accessible digital platforms transforms how—and when—they plant, directly strengthening food security. We are reimagining climate services and early warning systems through collective innovation. By building every solution as a digital public good, we democratize access to world-class meteorological tools—ensuring that each new implementation strengthens the entire ecosystem. With every contribution, our open-source solutions become more robust, relevant, and accessible. This multiplier effect extends the benefits of innovation far beyond any single community, rapidly accelerating resilience and creating real, lasting change where it matters most.

Setting the Standard: Quality Through Collaboration

We deliver much more than just software— we ensure every solution meets the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.

By adopting an open-source development methodology, we guarantee complete transparency at every stage: all code is openly accessible, thoroughly peer-reviewed, and designed for easy local customization and continuous improvement. This collaborative process brings together the expertise of leading organizations and regional experts, resulting in state-of-the-art tools that are robust, secure, and built to last. Early implementations have already shown how this model accelerates innovation and raises the bar for climate technology across Africa.

Join a Visionary Initiative for Climate Action

Become part of the Climate Innovation Hub

A transformative initiative delivering real results in climate resilience. Together, we’re building the digital backbone for a climate-smart future, empowering communities across Africa to anticipate, adapt, and thrive.

Advancing the UN Global Digital Compact Vision

Our work contributes to the vision of the UN Global Digital Compact by championing digital public infrastructure and digital public goods for climate action.

As a practical embodiment of the digital transformation pillar of the UN 2.0 framework, our work addresses a critical gap: currently, only 0.4% of Official Development Assistance is dedicated to digital initiatives, despite their enormous potential for impact. Through partnership with the Hub, organizations combine immediate humanitarian impact with long-term technical progress. Every investment in open-source solutions and advanced AI for climate services creates permanent digital assets—resources that become stronger and more valuable with every new contribution and deployment. Our collaborative model delivers measurable improvements in climate resilience, while at the same time building lasting digital capacity and self-reliance across Africa.
